In terms of production, we employ a multitude of skilled and technical people working full time – predominantly on product manufacturing, which represents a large part of the company’s business – and we have an excellent back up for overload and specialist services, i.e. Chrome plating, Zinc plating, galvanizing, Electropolishing, all of which is thoroughly quality control checked at our factory. The production process is designed to ensure a speedy response to orders with short delivery spans, on standard equipment – although these are usually delivered well within four to five weeks. We have a small sales team, or should I say everyone here is a salesperson, and there is an atmosphere that says that we are better than any other company in our industry, that is their pride talking. Because all our products are manufactured in house, we are never waiting for someone to use shipping or truck break down on the motorway.

Sadly, it’s a bit quieter in the Sales & Marketing office at Metal Craft Industries this week as we had to say goodbye to Simone Smith last week when she came to the end of her 13 week graduate placement project as Media & Marketing Officer here.

Simone added a youthful charm during her time here and taught the team all about the various social media platforms available for business and how they can be used to tell the world all about the interesting things we manufacture in our 55,000 square foot facility here in Wellingborough.

We were very proud when she went back to Swansea University last month for Graduation Day where she received a Distinction in her Masters of Media Practice and Public Relations.
