We at Metal Craft are always looking at how we can improve our equipment, so you the customer benefit. Well, with this improvement you will benefit.
Our improvement was to sanitise our equipment. To give it a permanent barrier against Bacteria found in everyday life. To prevent this invisible organism from multiplying thus spreading disease and illness in both Hospitals and Catering establishments. How does it work? Sounds too good to be true? Let us explain.
The coating used is in the form of a powder coat. Either epoxy polyester or polyester, depending on your application, silver ions have been added during it’s manufacture. Once the powder has been applied to the equipment a permanent barrier now exists.
Because the silver ions are now impregnated into the coating, should one of the listed bacteria's come into contact with the coating, an ionic action takes place. The silver ions puncture the cell wall, therefore inhibits growth and the bacteria dies.
Simple but effective in the fight against infection in sensitive areas of your workplace. If the bacteria cannot grow, it cannot survive.
Our sanitised protective barrier effectively controls the growth of the following bacteria:
Guarding against this spread of bacteria can only help. The product can be applied to both chrome plate and stainless steel.
In catering it can be used in such areas as sinks, food preparation tables, food pans and drawer assemblies. Hospital equipment could include A&E trolleys, surgical trolleys and all associated equipment where the control of the spread of bacteria is vital.
As an added benefit finger prints and smudges are barely visible on stainless steel and chrome finished products.
Good and valid reasons why to choose Sanitised Equipment from Metal Craft. You will not disappointed.
As with any painted surface, the finish appearance and quality of the adhesion is only as good as the initial preparation.
Pre-treatment of the substrate is therefore vital if the maximum quality and adhesion is to be maintained, hence all of our products are treated with iron phosphate.
